Meet the author: Stephanie Butler is a math enthusiast and educator with experience in PreK-12 math education. A mom of two, Stephanie wrote Our Number Friends as a way for her children and students to connect with numbers beyond rote counting and inspire creativity in mathematical thinking.
Meet the illustrator: Bryan Quinlan loved working with his sister, Stephanie, on this project and enjoys seeing his three daughters’ excitement about math. He’s a proud Principal in Chicago Public Schools - most recently founding a PreK across from the city zoo.
